Edmond walking group meeting today @ 3 (sunday)

It's getting nice outside so we're meeting at 3:00 in Edmond at Mitch Park in front of the MAC. 

Just thought I'd let you know in case anyone is interested!

Hi. How does the walking group work? How long do you walk? I want to join you guys when my foot is healed. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up in the beginning.

We walk at Mitch Park and the trail we normally take is 2.8 miles and we do it in about an hour, depending on who is there and what pace we set.  We also talk a whole lot so the time goes very quickly.  We can set our pace to whoever is there!  There is also supposed to be a 1.8 mile track so we could do that is it's better for you!

Ooooooppps - I missed this post! Yes it was nice yesterday!!!

Darn, I wish I'd seen this yesterday.  I'd LOVE to come join you all sometime.  I walked at Hafer yesterday and it was beautiful out.  I'll get better about checking the board so I'll know the next time  you all walk.

It's very  unusual for us to be so late notice on our walking group!  It was a spur of the moment thing.  We try to meet every Saturday, weather permitting!  We meet at Mitch but we've talked about going to Hafer to change things up a bit.

We'll probably want to walk this Saturday but the weather forecast is looking kind of scary so we'll see!  But we do walk all summer.

What exactly are you holding in the picture? BTW, didn't we also whimp out on the walking during the summer heat?
