Way OT: I wanna know what makes an older guy like George Strait so attractive to the girls?

Pammie I know what you mean.  My friend Carry is a 400 pound gal (and wants to have the surgery one day),  She is the sweetest gal you will ever meet too.  And she has such a huge heart. 

Since we are on the subject of country folks, I think the sexiest two women in country are Trisha Yearwood and Martina McBride.  These younger gals are cute yes but both of those ladies shine inside and out.  And Martina has eyes to DIE for.  I have met Trisha and she is just a doll of a person and her personality radiates to everyone around her.

Yep!  You for sure know exactly what I am talking about.  You have helped me to be able to state more clearly what this X Factor is all about.  It is something that comes from within the person.  People can spot a phony.  But, when you meet someone *****ally is interested in what you have to say, and respect your opinions, even tho they may be different from theirs, that is one sign they posess the X Factor.

As to folks that we haven't ever met in person, (ie. George Strait and Toby Keith) I can only guess as to if I ever met them in person I would still think they possessed the X Factor.  (They on the surface appear to be as different as night and day.)  Yet, seemingly have got the ole X Factor working as far as I'm concerned.

Then it  becomes  about chemistry between two people, and sometimes sparks can fly even though they have only known one another for five minutes.  Of course, that doesn't mean we should act on those sparks.    I think people that meet someone and instantly say they are in love, really mean they are in lust.   

Yikes!  I am getting a little too preachy and better stop now.  Shame on me.....

I agree with the X factor thing.  I used to be quite disturbed that I found Phil Collins attractive.

But, a public person also allows us to be a little bit more openly lustful than we would in real life, so the X factor may just be that he's a public person. 

I don't know if I can add too much more to this since everyone else ha**** on points I would have to agree with... It is a little bit of the jeans, BUT for me it is more the smile and that quiet calmness that he seems to embody... Lives simply and happily in his own world.

But that voice does not hurt either!!!

Your such a freakin' HOOT! Asking this question, I'd sure have to throw in my thoughts. I think older men are attractive. As, my husband is 16 years older than me. But, George Straight, nah, he doesn't do it for me. When I think older, I guess I would have to say the sexiest to me would be Garth Brooks, but as I look back I've had a crush on that man since a child.

Also, alot of people think celebrities are HOT, because they can't have them, and never will, they have tons of money, and most are half way attractive.

The sexiest thing to me is personality!! A man with witt and is funny is everything.....right??

Okay buddy, you asked for it. You are well aware about how I feel about men. (clarification, I'm not in to women either) However,George Strait is someone I could sop up with a biscuit. He gives a new meaning to "me gonna love you long time". I absolutely adore him. For me it is not his Wrangler butt.That is not the first thing I notice. It's all about his face, eyes and smile. He's like a swimmimg pool on an August day(refreshing). He is also like fine wine, he gets better with age. I don't think that he was all that hot when he was younger. His teeth and smile are wondermous. To see him sing close up makes one want to suck face with him for hours.Yummo! Honestly, I don't look at his jeans. I think that it is his Genes that make him what he is. Out of all the people that are alive in this world, he is the one person that I would love to meet. I have seen him numerous times, but would love to sit down and have a conversation with him, among other things.You and I both know that ain't gonna happen. A girl can dream though. I have been very blessed in my life, but unfortunatley I have been short changed in knowing the love of a good man. It's all good though because fortunatley that is not something that I have to have to complete me.

I'll be honest. I didn't read all of this. I'm a skimmer. I did see "his butt" mentioned a lot. While he does have a very tasty looking hiney, it does nothing for me. For me, its all about his confidence he seems to exude. He's got a little swagger to him. And his crocked smile. He's hot but he also seems to be a genuinely nice guy. It also helps that he seems to be a good husband and a great daddy. That makes men hotter than any pair of jeans.

But that's just my opinion.
