I went to walmart today to purchase my Calcium Citrate and they don't carry it.. Does someone locally carry this?

Thanks in advance,
Sheila

Sheila, walmart carries calcium citrate. they are probably just out. I have some equate brand calcium citrate that I bought out there. They are caplet so you would have to crush them. the Chewable calcium I have I got from Michelle and it is bariatric advantage and you have to buy it online.

I'd ask the doctor for clarification, but it sounds like he's trying to keep up the acid absorption factor (with the TUMS).  Different practices do different things, so always go with what your doctor is telling you unless you have a really good reason not to.

And remember, TUMS, Prilosec, milk of magnesia all contain calcium, and too much of that stuff will back you up quicker than FREE SUNDAES AT SONIC.

I did not know Calcium would stop you up. thanks for the heads up on this. I don't take prilosec. I have a script for prevacid. does it have calcium in it?
