busy time

I already have several of my appointments made, My PCP is doing everything he can to get things going.   I told his nurse that I can't get an appointment wiht the surgeon until they have my medical records so she is going to get them faxed down there.

Here's my list for this month:
  Pulmonary Function test 1-13 2nd shot in Knees  1-14
See Dr. Shuler 1-15 Phyc eval  1-21 3rd shot in knees 1-21 going to have to reschedule this on for the afternoon as physc is in morning. Dr. Roberts (foot Dr) 1-21

The shots in my knees are synvisc shots they are a series of 3 shots in each knee.

Sounds like you have the ball rolling big time.  Good for you!  I have had synvisc in my knees too several years ago.  It didn't help immediately but after a few weeks it settled in and was great.  I KNOW that after you loose your weight after surgery that will also be a big help with the knees and feet!!!  Way to go.....

They keep us very busy will all this pre-op stuff.  But keep jumping through all the hoops - it is so worth it!

Eek!  Shots in the knees sounds very painful.  Yikes!

It will help you keep from freeting the busy pace required for the pre-op stuff.  good Luck and we will be hear to listen when you need it!

Too bad I'm way ahead of my PCP on all this.  He still has to fax the last 3 yrs of my medical history and he letter to my surgeon.  So I can't go see the surgeon until he has all that done.  And since I've been through all this before I'm keeping a food log of what I'm eating too so that will be ready too.
