Denver, 6 months, and more...
Got back from Denver last night. I am never saying this is my last trip for a while! There were so many issues that I have to go back again in a couple of weeks. It was the most stressful business trips ever but I never turned to food! There was lots of good in the trip too though. Since I have friends in Denver I stayed with them instead of staying in a hotel and went a day early. Laura and I shopped all day Sunday at thrift stores. I found so many clothes that I had to buy another suitcase to come home!
Yesterday was my 6 month surgery anniversary. I am down a total of 94 lbs and very close to only being overweight. I will post photos here of 10 days before surgery and today if I can figure out how to do so. If not, I will add them to my profile.
Wedding update -- for those who are new or don't know -- in November I am going to be a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding. She wanted me to buy a dress off a rack from a store they do not have in Oklahoma (she is in NY). I talked to her today and she brought it up again. I told her there was no way I could or would do that. So, on February 15th I am flying to NY for a week to go shopping. I will write down the number of the dress we find and then order it from a bridal shop here so that I can have it altered as needed. My dad and sisters have not seen me since surgery except for pictures so I can't wait to see their reaction. My dad was not happy about me having surgery.
