Rashes

Ok I have now lost enough that I have started getting rashes in places that are much looser than they were before. Yes I have contacted the doctor when it started and he prescribed nystatin but it seems to be spreading to other parts fairly quickly. What I was wondering is has anyone else had this problem so early out and is there anything else I can do besides the cream to help keep it in check. Will adding yogurt to my diet help for the skin version of yeast like it does others?  I am taking pictures as well of the rashes since i know that it will help me get my insurance to pay for a TT later on but I am scratching myself badly in my sleep when I have no control over it. Any  help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Sarah

I'm sorry that I can't help you but I can sympathize with you and tell you that I'm sorry this is happening.  It truly must suck!  Is there any way to cover it up at night so you can't get to it to scratch in your sleep?  I wish I had a suggestion but I will be thinking about you and hoping it goes away!

Keep us posted!  Kim

Hi, Sarah.
I'm sure sorry you're having to deal with this. I wonder if putting on something like Benadryl Cream will help, as it is an anti-itch cream? Try some of the things our mothers tried, when we had poison ivy and weren't supposed to scratch. I seem to recall my mother making a paste with water and baking soda. Maybe do a Google search about it, too. Good luck. I'm sure you'll find something that will work to give you some relief.
Blessings,
Mary

I'm so sorry.  I am very thankful that I don't have this issue right now.  I did have it some during the summer but now it seems to be fine.  I just used baby powder.

Did you go to the doctor for this issue or just call it in?  I'm asking because if it itches it might be a yeast.  I have gotten a lot of them in the past and they do itch to high heaven.  My doc has prescribed creams for it but the best a a pill that you just take once....  I can't remember the name but will look and get back with you.  Mine was usually under my chest area.

Yes I actualy went in and he said it was yeast and prescribed washing 3 times aday and applying the nystatin cream after drying throughly. It helps the itch except it wears off at night. I wore a pair of gloves to bed lst night and at least woke up with out any new claw marks. I know that  I was told long ago the yogurt would help cure a yeast infection or maybe it was help prevent it in a baby so I wonder if eating more yogurt would help. Thank you all for your input!

That's what I had....creams were a short fix compared to the one pill treatment for yeast!  Call his office and ask the nurse if she can check with him and get it called in.  They are cheap too.  You'll have almost immediate relief!!!  I KNOW PERSONALLY!
