upping the protien did the trick for me!
I realized I wasn't getting enough protein so I just made sure everything I ate had protein in it. Healthy Choice has a Steak and Noodle soup that has 13 grams of protein per serving and there are 2 servings in one of those grab and go bowls. I've also been having a protein bar for breakfast that has 20 grams of protein. I can't usually eat dinner until after 7 pm so I'll have string cheese for a snack and it has 7 grams of protein. That is 53 grams of protein and only 570 calories. I'll have something protein laden for dinner and I've been drinking a glass of milk for that final protein shot before bed. After 4 days of being super concious of my protein, I've lost 5 lbs.
Amen to that Debra. I HAVE got to have some of the veggies/fruit or it's calling my friend fleet for sure! I DO NOT like fleet if I can leave it alone. I have also upped my protein some and saw 3 pounds go away this week......I think it's just going back to basics and being aware of everything we put in our mouths!!!
Looks like this is what I need to be doing. I haven't lost anything in the last 6 weeks. I have been watching my weight go up 3 lbs and then down 3 lbs and then up 3 lbs and so on. It has been kinda frustrating, but I know that it will pass. I have been exercising, but over the holidays I did find myself eating things that I shouldn't have, just a bite here and there, but it was probably enough to make a difference. I'm gonna get back on that protein bandwagon. Rosielocks
Hi Amy,
I was at a stall for a little over a week, and added a little bit more protein in, and wa la...lost 5 pounds! Definately recommend it at a stall, but I'm sure if I would start exercising that might do it to. I know Dr. B. says no snack in between!! But, not on a every day basis, but a few times in the past couple weeks, I've had to do a 2% sting cheese in between lunch and dinner, and it made the world of difference for me. Guess I should tell Chris about that. Your doing great!!
Hugs,
Amber
