Glittergal got me thinking about trying to up my protien to break my stall.  So, after 2 days of increased protien, I lost 3 lbs!  Woo-hoo!!  Now I need to work on exercising!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and weekend!

That's wonderful, Amy. Congratulations! Mixing things up is the key. Our bodies seem to get acclimated to whatever we're doing, whether it's in the food department or the exercise department.
Have you had the VO2 assessment at Wt. Wise? It's VERY helpful.
Blessings,
Mary

Well, first I have to confess to have been eating carbs some.  I cut it out and only focused on protein.  I had chicken for breakfast and lunch and hamburger meat for dinner with protien snacks a couple of times during the day.

Yeah, what GlitterGal said...what did you do? Because I can't really stuff any more food in there than I can now, so, do I eat between meals?

Dr B. says not to eat between meals so I would follow that.  I just drink the protien hot chocolate and eat protein at every meal and even though I'm not supposed to snack I have been eating protein snacks.

do not eat between meals. that is a bad habit to get into. Have a protein drink for some of your fluid.

No, I don't eat between meals, that is one of the first things I and others that are Weightwise patients have been thought. We have also been thought to get protein from foods rather than shakes, and I don't do shakes - can't stand them. I eat three meals a day made up of only protein and some veggies if I can fit them in there. I personally don't think I need to up my protein, I was just wondering how I could if I wanted to....
