Vitamin Question

I just want to know how everyone is getting all their vitamins in.  I take 3 calcium lozenges, 2 b-12 dots, 1 iron, and 2 multi-vitamins each day.  Jess told me not to take any of them together, and to wait 2 hours between each one.  I am taking vitamins ALL DAY long at this rate!  I have resorted to setting a timer on my desk, so I can make sure to get them all in.  I didn't get them all in yesterday.  Got everything except the last calcium lozenge.

Thanks for your input!

Hugs,
Marsha

Marsha, for me, I take my 1 vitamin in the morning when I get up along with my 2 calcium pills. Then around lunch time I do the iron and at supper I do the vitamin and 2 calcium again. I know I had to have a set schedule because without it I would be missing doses

Marsha, Only the calcium and iron need to be taken within two hours of each other.

This is my schedule

AM When I get up

1 multi vitamin 1 calcium 2 B12's

Mid Day Iron

PM Usually at bedtime

1 milti vitamin 1 calcium

Along with some other stuff that I throw in there. The body only absorbs around 500 mg of calcium at a time so there is no need in taking them both at the same time. The calcium and the iron cannot be taken together.  Hope this helps, Rita

Marsha,

My vitamin schedule is alot like LaDetra's. I take my multi and calcium and b12 in the morning, lunch I take my iron, and night I do multi and calcium again.  Hopefully, I'm not doing this wrong, I thought it was just the iron and calcium that needed to be seperated 2 hours.

Thanks so much to all of you!  That helps me tremendously.  I think I must have misunderstood Jess when I talked to her on Monday.  I didn't go to the diet class, I did a phone consult, so I guess I misunderstood.  You guys are the best!

Hugs,
Marsha
