I know.  I went in there the other day and couldn't believe it.  My weakness is the valentine hearts.  I could eat them by the bag.  I can only remember one year when I didn't eat a single one.  I'm shooting for two years this time!!

OMG Kim!  You look fabulous!  I hope all your trials are over and it's smooth sailing from here on out!

Thanks.  I am still fighting this bacterial infection with IV meds but at least I'm at home.  Eating is still a challenge but I'm doing okay for the most part.  At least I'm finally losing again.  I love your pictures and I loved your vacation pictures.  Made me want to go on vacation.

I once got a Valentine's gift from an ex boyfriend.  It was the beautiful Russell Stover heart box with all the chocolates except the ex ate the candy (it was to help me lose weight).  All boyfriends since then have been told that BC Clarks carries my size in tiaras.

I always find it hard to eat chocolate Easter eggs because I just don't understand the bunny thing.  Oh, well.

I will just follow my holiday rule-one treat on THE day.  Valentine's candy really doesn't do it for me, so I'll probably have some malted robin eggs on valentine's day and easter both-HEY, it's MY treat.

The thing is, I only love the big ones and they are only sold in big bags. BAS****s.

Some years I don't even buy them, some years I buy a bag and take to  Mom's, but that just fuels her desire to be food police.  I've dug the bag out of my own trash can (inside) before to eat one more.......I think it's my longest running out of control thing and I'm so glad they are only out once a year.

What's funny, is I can take or leave a malted milk ball-it's the digging the malt out of the crunchy egg that I love.

I love Reese's peanut butter eggs. I will stay away from this year. Hopefully by easter I will have had my surgery and be losing.

At the risk of peddling food porn-I found a better substitute.  The peanut butter truffle burns my throat anyway-so I take a small square of sugar free dark chocolate and spread a little crunchy peanut butter on it.  It has a fraction of the calories and sugar, and tastes just as good.  (But it's still junk food, so don't kid yourself about that).
