Biggest Loser and the RNY dude

Ok, it freaked me out to see a dude on the Biggest Loser last night that was so huge.  How in the heck did that happen?  How in the world did he gain so much weight?  How could there be room in his tummy to do that?  I'm VSG but this scares me.  Did he just eat slider foods all day long?

I saw that too!  I'm thinking that he did it with slider foods.  We all know that we can eat around any procedure.  That should scare me straight though.  We know that what we all have is simply a tool that we have to use together with good choices, vitamins and our support group!!!!!!  (((HUGS)))

Amen to having our support group.  You guys on here help me big time!  This is my secret weapon to keep myself on the straight and narrow.

Girl, I was wondering the same thing..how in the heck did that happen?? I was scared when I heard this. This surely had to have been slider foods....surely. I didnt hear how long ago he had it done....do you know? Overall, the show was good last night except for eliminating 9 people.

I know!!!!!  I was freaking out!  Randy and I both hit the rewind button (DVR) to make sure we heard it right.  They called his R n Y something weird though.  I can't remember but it started with an E.  I don't know if that means he had a slightly different versiont than the standard R n Y bypass or what.  But still, they showed how tiny his stomach was and it scared the poo out of me!

I re-winded too because the doctor said something about RNY that I couldn't understand.  I still don't know what the heck he said but I'm guessing it wasn't nice.  But I can't prove that!  Ha!

I'm right there with ya'll ladies!! Seeing him and seeing that he had such a tiny tummy, had me on the computer looking if I could find failed VSG surgeries!! Oh my!! I started messing out what I'm eating today, so I never go over. UGH!! I'm believing that we are all winners and have the best support.

It scares me to see his tiny tummy on MRI and know that he can still be that big.  He obviously never followed the pouch rules or he woulnd't be that big.  Very sad!

I still  measure.  I buy those 1/2 cup and 1 cup containers and use those for my lunches.  Some things i can eat almsot a cup of and other still just 1/2 cup.  I think measuring is one of the reasons I have never thrown up since surgery.
