Will I ever get my date???

Emily, I have been waiting since June due to cardio clearance. I am cleared after Jan 23 and still I have not gotten a date to say this is my day to change my life. I TOTALLY understand how hard it is to wait for this....I understand the disappointment you feel, but you know what....I didn't get to this point quickly. I have lived with this for years and though the waiting is rough...I can do it, because I know that it IS coming soon. Your date will be coming soon too....
I have watched so many on here get their dates, have their surgery and lose all kinds of weight, while I sit here waiting for my dream to come true.
I can't change anything for you, but I can honestly say...I fully understand and my heart goes out to you.

Sherry, I know you have been waiting a long time too. I am praying for both us to hang in there. I am excited for you to get your cardiac clearance. You will probably have a date shortly after that.

I use the same doctor as you do. I know it is very frustrating. I scheduled my return visit to the NUT and the appt. for the blood work on the same day. It didn't take as long as they thought it would to get the blood work back. I called Crystal about 4 days after the test and they had my results so she went ahead and scheduled.

I really don't understand the 30 day NUT thing either. Especially since they don't require a weight loss. You just can't gain.

However with all that being said, the pre-op diet for me was so much easier than alot of them I have read about.

Hang in there! I started the process in February and didn't get to have my surgery until Oct. 20th.

Shelly, that is great to hear about the blood work. Maybe mine will come back that fast too. I have to go back on Feb 5th. I have been at this since September. I am so ready for it to be over. The good thing is I don't have to wait for approval from my insurance since they don't require pre authorization. Crystal told me if they did  it could take another 3 months. Thanks for the support.
