Sick of pain!

I am not going unless the surgeon says its okay. Everytime I have surgery and when my six week mark comes I go gyspying and end up back home having to have surgery. So this time I am being smart. i am tired o putting money in their pockets....I could use it for clothes

My orthopedic surgeon, who adore because he is painfully blunt said once "you'll keep hurting your leg until you get smart enough to realize that taking care of it hurts less than "pushing through the pain", or you hurt it so bad you can't recover."

(You'd adore him to Pattye, he's easy on the eyes and rides...but he's married too.  Bah). 

I called this morning and since the pain is diminished I am going Wednesday to see her. I have been wearing my binder 24 hours a day and maybe that is helping. All I know is pain is not gain and the jack a$$ that made that up must have been into pain

Thanks for posting about this Pattye.  I do hope you're feeling better today.  I know that my sister-in-law said this surgery was h- - - for her too.  I want to have this done...need to get rid of the tummy...it's aweful but I don't know...I do know I CANNOT be off work more than a couple of weeks at a time so I'll have to give it serious consideration when the time comes.  I just don't think I can live with my panni like it is!

At the longest it was like a mini skirt and was just embarassing  to me. No matter what I would wear the apron was visible to me I told my sister with that hanging down I did not feel like I had lost the weight. And now I do.
I am wanting my legs done and have been told that pain is worse plus the scarring is bad. But like I told my surgeon I would rather have scars that all this skin hanging down I will never wear shorts or a swim suit again if I can t get them done.
