I have made 8 quilts since my surgery. And I am starting  a baby quilt tonight..gee its friday night and I am quilting..sounds like I am an old maid....

I've been buying fabric and not using it....and yarn.  I got to get my act togther.

I went to wal mart and bought up christmas fabric from 63 cents a  yard to 99 cents...LOL I have like a hundred yards of the stuff. My roommate just looked at me and said I bet I know what people are getting for christmas next year...And I bought the polar fleece pajamas for 3.75 a set so crazy me bought 9 sets of them plus some other jammies and shirts. plus some jewlery sets so next year all i have to buy for is the guys...why is it the mens stuff is never on sell?

I've noticed that too-tools, equipment, things like that never go on "clearance".  Last year even the garden clearances were crapola.

Who is Jewel........yes I am serious.

Jewel is a pop singer now a country singer (though her music is pretty much the same as it always was-great).  On the pop side she hit it big with "Who Will Save your Soul" and "Foolish Games".  She lives with Ty Hardin (a rodeo dude).

I actually know who Ty Hardin is. I am a country lover. I may know jewel if I saw her, but the name meant nothing. I will search her online later.

I wasn't sure who Ty Hardin was.  We don't have too many rodeos up here in MI.  So, I googled him. 

The only Ty Hardin I found was born in 1930.  Is this the same guy?    I saw Jewell sing on a Christmas speical on tv with Toby Keith.  She has a beautiful voice!    But, if that is the same guy and she lives with him, isn't he a little old for her?  and how could he still be doing the rodeo thing at his age?  But, what do I know - each to their own.  Just curious.  So Deb could give me the skinny on this one and end my confusion?
