Nothing to wear!

We do casual (jeans) day every day at work all of November and December. I had several different sizes saved so no problem there. It is back to business casual on Monday the 5th. I leave on Sunday for a business trip to Denver. Well, I went through my closet to start getting ready and I have NO pants that fit me! They are all too big. Looks like I am going to have to try to find some time to hit the thrift store before Sunday and hope I can find some clothes! Of course, this is a nice problem to have!

Good for you Nancy!  I've become a big fan of thrift stores, and discovered that I dress better shopping there than I did when I bought stuff retail.

I'm just now experiencing that same problem for the first time.  I cleaned out my closet (the pant section at least) of all the stuff that no longer fits.  Kinda freaks me out when I see how little I have to wear now!  It's too darn cold to go around in skirts all the time, so I guess I better aquire some new pants to cover my ever-shrinking behind.  ;-)

Happy Shopping!

Nancy,

What a great problem to have!!!  I can't wait!  I do have my good pair of jeans that are starting to get too big, but I think I can shop in my closet for quite some time.  By the way, have you ever shopped at the the 1/2 of 1/2 price Name Brand clothing?  There's one on 240 & Western (I think).  You really have to dig, but I've bought clothes there that were in perfect condition for as little as $1.00 each.  I enjoy going when I have time to shop.

Congratulations again!

Hugs,
Marsha

I have never shopped there but may have to look into it. I don't live far from there but can't remember if it is still there or not. I know I saw one of those recently but now for the life of me I can't remember where!
I am staying with a friend in Denver for this trip and she is a fantastic thrift shopper. I am going on Sunday so we can shop all day and then will do more when I get off work Monday and Tuesday evening. I plan on going with an almost empty suitcase and hopefully coming home with a full one!
