p.s...ok, so any good support groups you guys attend?

I also agree that Dr. G and his staff are excellent.  My PCP strongly recommended him so I didn't even look at any of the other options in the OKC area.

There is a support group meeting on Saturday if your friend is interested.

We are pretty close.  I don't know of any support groups here in Durant, but would love to get involved with one closer to home.  I totally enjoyed the support group meeting I went to at Weight Wise last summer, but it's three hours away and I can't go during the school year.  If you hear of any, let me know.

Leah, Dr. Gornachec did my sister-in-law's RNY about 3 years ago and she absolutely loves him.  They have support group meeting through Integris and his office.  I think they are on Saturdays.

I also work for Integris and Dr Gornichec i fabulous , our insurance is great and i had no trouble qualifying and my whole process only took about 2 months ,,,,good luck to your friend , i would be happy to help in any way i can ....

myself like Luanne, work for integris and used dr gornichec. I am very satisfied with him, im getting to know him more and more as im only 2 months post op. I do like his office staff and his nurse. i had heard great reviews before surgery and didn't search any where else.  she WILL  have to use dr g or take out of network benefits if she has waterstone insurance. they didn't give me a choice. one more thing, waterstone told me that they have never denied anyone for surgery. that's a huge plus!!!

I used Dr. Ronnie Keith at Oklahoma Weight Loss Options in Norman Oklahoma. His staff has been awesome with me both before surgery and since I have had it. Also he has support groups several times a month at different places around town so ther eis usually one pretty close.
