Asking for your prayers, surgery tomorrow
Hi All,
I am just here to ask for some prayers tomorrow morning as I cross over to the losers bench. I have waited for this for many years, and now it is finally my turn. I have a great surgeon and almost more importantly, I have a great anesthesiologist who will make sure I sleep safely and awaken without pain. I am ready to make the life long changes this new tool will require of me to be successful, so please pray that all goes well during my surgery and recovery. I appreciate all the help I have gotten to my many questions along the way so far....I am sure there will many more to come!!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
You might be amazed to hear that I was born in Harrah back in 1965!! Not sure how long you have lived there, but there used a clinic there back in those days, down on Main Street, I believe close to where to post office is. It was called the "Shockey clinic", and from I know that my mother told me, is that there was a procedure room where they delivered babies and did small procedures (my dad laid on that same table the day I born and got himself "fixed"!), and they had a maternity ward (I am sure there wasn't much to it). Anyway Dr. Shockey was my doctor until he retired when I was about 15.

Hi, Marie.
Congratulations on taking this important step to a new you. Way to end 2008 and begin 2009! I'm sure you will do well, but I'll be praying for you, also. :)
Blessings,
Mary
