Okay I know  its common to have food intolerance but this is nutts. The only thing I have eaten since the 26th was a chicken strip from chick fila(sp). Even my safe food like eggs and cottage cheese are making me ill. I am so hungry I put myself back on the liquid diet of Popsicles and jello bc they are they only things that are staying down. I do not know what to do, I know that I am a big baby and I do not want to call the doc but then again I am so weak its not even funny. I wake up I sit in bed bc I have a headache I get dressed I am up and about for about 3-4 hours then I have to take a nap bc I am just so sleepy. GRRRRRR......this is not suppose to be happening I am 25 days out from surgery and I feel like crap. Any advice, anything I can do minus calling the doc? any foods I should try? Anything?

Call the doc-you may have the flu or something else.

You know that Dr. Walton will be upset to know that you have been feeling this way and haven't called him. Why put yourself through this? Call him. Call him! [All of the above said lovingly but firmly.]
Blessings,
Mary

I'm sorry you are not feeling well.  I do not want to scare you, but what you are describing doesn't sound normal and you should call the doctor.  As the Queen of complications, I now call even if it sounds like nothing.  Good luck.

Did you have the RNY?  Could it be a stricture type situation?  I have no clue but just trying to brainstorm with you.  I wonder if you are dehydrated and maybe that is making you so weak.  Everyone says as soon as they get IV fluids that they feel better right away (right Kim and Camille?LOL).  I would call Walton right away.

CALL THE DOC!!!  That's what he's there for and DOES want to hear from you!!!  Hope you're feeling better soon.

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Make sure you are getting enough fluids while this is going on.  You can get dehydrated pretty quickly with any vomiting. (As I am sure you already know).  I second all the others - call the doc!

Hiya guys thank you SO much for all your advice you guys where correct. I called him he was in surgery and he called me later on that day told me to be at his office it took 7,000cc of iv fluid to get me normal again. I had to stay over night I had a scope the next day I had a stricture ( scare tissue is covering the opening to the small intes) on top of that I have an ulcer. So I have double the fun. I knew something wasn't right but when I told family they made it seem like I was over reacting so I thought maybe I was. I thought my doc was going to be upset he was the opposite hes like kiddo( he is the ONLY person that can call me kiddo and I not get pissed) don't do that again 24 hours if you cant keep water down call does not matter what time of day. So when I stayed over at the hospital I got sick and we had to call him at 1am I felt so bad I knew he was sleeping and idk..just did. I know he'd rather the nurses call and wake him to get orders than me up all night in pain trying to vomit when I don't even have water in my stomach. So this week I have SO learned a lesson. I was trying to be brave and just deal with the pain but now I am taking my pain meds when needed and following everything to a T. Thanks again for the support and advice.
