Welcome!  Welcome!  Welcome!  This group is great and always here to help out.

I was a gal that always said I would NEVER have wls.  Well, never say never!  At 7 months post-op from VSG, it's the best and most exciting thing I have ever done for myself!  You will be thrilled with the results.  I will be honest with you and say that you do have to work your new tummy and still make good decisions.  But it certainly gives you a secret weapon!  At 90 pounds lighter, I am thrilled and life is so much easier!

Post early and often!  We love newbies!

Let me chime in with the others and welcome you to OH and the Oklahoma forum.  Great bunch of people.  I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but was raised in OKC and all my family still lives there.  Would love to move back if I could find decent work.  Congrats on your decision for WLS.  Michael

Welcome to the OH board Kim. Yes, this is a great group....the best that I have seen and come in contact with. Ask all the questions you want and no question is a dumb question, just the ones not asked. Have a great evening

Hi Kim~  Welcome to the board!  I'm Renae, I'm an Air Force wife over in Altus, so I'm not too far from Fort Sill.  I had my WLS with Dr Warnock in August 2004 and have lost over 170 lbs since beginning my WLS journey.  I have also had both of my babies since my WLS, as well.  I think it's awesome to meet another Military wife and I look forward to getting to know you better.   The WLS was a life changing experience for me and the best thing I ever did in my life.  It saved my life, literally!  *hugs*

Welcome Kim!
It sounds like you have a really exciting life!  Full of adventure!  How fun!  I look forward to reading all about your adventurous WLS journey right here with other Okies!  We are all a great bunch of supporters!  There is no way I would be where I am today without all of these wonderful people!
I'm new to the bench!  So I'm not as " seasoned" as some but I'll be here to help you any way I can!
Welcome and Hugs for your journey!
Kim
