Knock on wood, it is finally starting to lessen to the point that it dosn't bother me every day.
I have my own opinion on what it is from, I believe is is muscle pull from my tummy being flabbier. I know it is aggrivated more when I lay on my right side and the weight of the belly is pulling, as well as other positions that seem to do the same thing.
I was advised to take Tylenol on a regular basis and use a heating pad.
I hope you get over it sooner than I have.
All these wierd things......who knew?!

I don't know anything about what you are experiencing, but I would advise you to call your surgeon. He will either tell you that it's normal healing, or he'll want you to be checked out. Either way, it will be comforting. Please consider calling him.
You are in my prayers.

Yes, that is exactly what it feels like...and it is not a constant thing...comes and goes..and if I lay one way or stand to stretch or do something weird..yea...I am almost 6 weeks out also and never had this happen before, so I guess that is why it became so noticeable. Thanks for your response and to all the other responses.

Don't forget that your body is redistributing its fat stores - if you measure - you will see this happening at an alarming rate during the first few months. And depending on the loss, yes the extra "loose" skin can pull funny when you are repositioning or even just being still.
If an OTC medication does not ease - or you notice bruising or the area is extremely warm to the touch - please be sure you contact your surgeon's office.
The first year you need to make sure to listen closely to your body - because it is a whole new world, we don't always understand if something isn't right - but if you pay attention (all the time) then you can detail pertinent information to your surgeon.
Remember the roller coaster ride we always talk about? This one is going 100 mph and has no brakes!! Hang in there!

COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR BUT RATHER
THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
If the pain lasts more than a few days call the doctor...
Now if you need a laugh here is one for ya.
I have to have two areas on my tt incison packed daily. Yesterday a different nurse came out and was doing vitals asking about my pain and I told her about the pain that I have across the mid section kinda basically where the belly button would be...well she is examing the area. And all of a suddent she just stops and looks at me and says "Pattye do you know...well I am not sure how to ask this but; where is your belly button?" I busted out laughing and told her the surgeon drop it on the floor and slipped on it. Her face was priceless....
My regular nurse did not notice the lack of a belly button until she was trying to tell me where I had one surgical staple left at. I was at that time 4 weeks post op. She never noticed it was gone.
