Update on Me

Well I made it through Gall Bladder surgery Monday just fine.  Came home that Day about 1:30 and slept pretty much on and off the next 24 hours.  I will say Tuesday and part of Wednesday were rough.  I had awful gas pains and nausea. I did not experience it this bad even with the bypass.  By Wednesday evening I was feeling better and by Christmas morning I was back to my normal self.  I am glad it is done and everything will be going back to normal.  I am still so amazed at how much I have lost in such a short time.  I will be 10 months out on Sunday and as of this morning I am down 207 lbs.  My life has completely changed and I have been given a gift from God.  I wish you all the best and hope you all had the best Christmas.

What a great report!! I am amazed and your weight loss in just 10 months. You are doing awsome!
I am also so glad your GallBladder surgery went well and that you are on the road to recovery now. I had mine done back when it was a 7day stay in the hospital and you were down for 6 weeks at home. I am so thankful that that type of surgery is in the past.
I often wonder if everyone who has these surgeries all feel like they would do it again in a heart beat or if there are ever any regrets....I don't ever seem to hear any among the members on here. It is encouraging to me to hear the good reports. It gives me hope that I too will have success if I do what I am supposed to do...
I want to wish you a Happy New Year and I pray that you continue in good health through the up coming year!

Glad to hear you are recovering well from your surgery. I know what you mean about the gas pains being worse than the bypass. I felt the same way when I had my appendix out after the bypass.

It is strange that I did not experience the gas pains when my gall bladder was taken out the year before my bypass surgery.

Great accomplishment!
