Merry Christmas!! Bye Bye!!

Merry Christmas Bye Bye!! Time for everyone to go home now!!  We had our Christmas yesterday for a little over 14 hours.. It was beautiful!  I love everyone!! Now I'm am having that feeling at the bottom of my spine.  That's where it starts you know.  It starts there and slowly travels up until it comes out of your mouth as a scream. It usually takes about 3-4 hours from spine to scream.   The procession goes like this: spine, fake smile, lifted eyebrows and fake smile, narrowed eyes and fake smile, Pursed lips and narrowed eyes,  sarcasm, Start to say something mean and then just smile. Say something that could be interpreted either way.  Say something unmistakable *****y, Hints that everyone is going to be late to their next Christmas raking in session.   Start to put everyone's loot in their cars, Everyone has about 1 and 1/2  hours left!! Run everyone Run!!

T-givng is the chaotic time for out of towners, etc.  Today was really quiet-just my folks and I, very laid back, and sooooo much nicer.  I think my T-giving post was titled something like "I love you go home."

I think we'd all be better off if we spread our joy out over the year instead of trying to squeeze it all in a few hours.  Actually, some of the most successful family holiday events I've attended were when we took over an apartment building club house and did it there-people could come and go at will, no one was hosting, every one was pitching in.

I know there are people alone today, thinking how ungrateful we are for saying these things-and I'm really not.  I appreciate my family and friends-I love you all-but I need alone time too.  Too much of anything is no good. 

Oh that is so funny!!!!!  I'm already contemplating how early I can leave in the morning!  I love my sister and her family but my Mom can be challenging so I am ready to head home.  And I already got to the stage where I said something really ugly.  Whoops.  I blamed it on the lack of food my body gets after this surgery!! LOL!

Oh my..  that is the reason I do not host holidays very often.. we go to my sisters.. that way i can arrive late and leave early...lol.. then off to the inlaws... for a very quick visit.. and back home to my chair... now i am comfy and tucked in ready for night night... hope you all enjoyed your christmas.. god bless

Hmm I some how miss a couple of those steps somehow. LOL But I actually did good today and kept my mouth shut after my HUGE Thanksgiving blow up and walk out. Leaving everything behind even my kids. (was at their nanas so was safe) I was still very touchy and super emotional then as it was just 14 days after my surgery. Heck what am I saying my emotions still are haywire at times.
