I do hope that the trip home is a safe one and that you had a wonderful Christmas....I fully understand your mom issue! LOL, I wonder how many of us do have those issues with MOM!
My mom is telling me now, after giveing me the money for the surgery, that since I have lost 22lbs, why can't I just keep on losing it instead of the surgery??? It's like mom..."LAYOFF"!!. Oh and I got the Oprah mag for Christmas as it is full of articles about weight and how to lose it!!! Yahoooo! Can't wait on that!
I wonder now that my girls are all grown....Do I get on their nerves the way mom gets on mine??
I have told them that if I ever act like my mom, either 1. Kill me or 2. at least tell me so I can change it! So far they are really great about telling me! Little brats!! LOL But I do change lots of things to break the cycle....I'm never to old to change!

Camille and I were talking about you over Christmas and trying to remember when you surgery was planned for. She thought she remembered you saying you were hoping for January or shortly after. Hang in there. I am right there with you on trying to break the cycle. I still my sisters all the time to just take me out back and shoot me if I start acting like her. Happy New Year to you too! I hope 2009 will be your year for change!!
