Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you all have a joyous day with your families and friends.  We're about to go to my sister's house and spend the day.  I'm a little apprehensive about it, because of all the food that's going to be there, but I made it through Thanksgiving when I could eat solid food without getting off my plan, so surely I can make it through Christmas when I cannot eat solid food. 

I am having trouble sleeping at night.  I did fine the first night, but the pain meds made me sleep that night.  Last night I went to bed and went to sleep, but my sister came in about 10 and I got woken up and could not find a comfortable way to lay after that.  I finally got up about 2 a.m. and slept in the recliner.   I am just taking Tylenol now instead of pain pills.  For one thing the pain pills screwed up my vision and I just don't like the taste of having to crush them and take them like that.  The tylenol helps as much as they do, so I'm fine.

Merry Christmas Marsha!  Every day gets a little easier.  You will make it through today without eating solid food.  Embace the joy of being with family and the reason for the season.  And think of how proud you'll be when the day is done and you've been a perfect angel!
