Just an update
Hi all you wonderful people :)
I just thought I would give you an update on what's going on. I spoke to Kim at Dr. Gornichec's office and she told me that Aetna requires a 3-month supervised program with Dr. Gornichec. So, I hope to get started with that in January sometime. Since I don't have a lot of severe comorbidities, I hope they won't reject me. I really don't mind doing 3 months, I just didn't want to have to do the 6 months. This will also give me some more time to dig up more medical records. Also to get that blasted physician letter that has yet to be sent to Dr. Gornichec's.
Slowly, but surely making my way to the losers bench (I hope). I hope everyone has their Christmas shopping done. My little one is turning 7 on Christmas Eve. He had a hard time going to sleep tonight and I know he will be up bright and early. :)

Your 3 months will go by so quickly, but it will be time enough to get that letter, like you said. Just keep a positive attitude about it all. No rejection! :) How sweet, that you had a Christmas Eve baby. :) Have a blessed Christmas.

Hi Mary,
Yes, he was pretty sweet when they brought him to me all wrapped up in his blanket and they had a little red crochet hat with a fluffy little ball on top when he was born. They wheeled him into the room in his hospital bassinet and he was wide awake. Best and happiest moment of my life. He also had a large Christmas stocking they took pictures of him in. I had a heck of a time getting him out of it. :)
This whole year has gone by like a flash, so I think, heck I really started the journey back in July where I actually decided to do it. So, I figure another 3 or 4 months is not so hard to wait for. I am just the type of person when I decide to do something I WANT IT NOW. lol
I feel better knowing, too, that I won't lose my 300.00 dollars I paid to the coordinator. So, all is well, just wi**** could have been sooner.
