Leaving for Edmond around 5 AM...

My house is as clean as it's going to get..   I plan on leaving for Edmond around 5 AM giving me 3 hours to get there, since there is fog..  DH's day has not been the perfect setting..  He spent the day in Missouri, was being sent back to Branson West, definetly not giiving him time to even make it home for Christmas..  So I guess they had a change of heart and is sending him to El Reno and Yukon.  However, I am praying we meet up before 8 AM so he can go with me.. We are going to meet somewhere, don't know the location yet.. He should call me during the night.  n I pray it all works out, becaue I have been nothing but stressed today..  But glad to see my house clean and Santa has already arrived..

Good Luck Sheila, I will be thinking of you tomorrow.  I remember how excited I was to know that the day had finally come for surgery.  I will say a prayer for you and your family tonight.  Lisa

It's pretty normal to feel a little nuts the night before surgery, and you want everything to be just perfect.....realize, it WILL be.  The only thing YOU have to do is show up on time-the rest will take care of itself.  The scheduling stuff gives you something to occupy your mind, but at this point, let it go, concentrate on a few calm hours at home before you leave.  Here's a hug, and a good luck wish.

Also, with the weather and the job, your hubby might not make it in time.  That's ok too-he's not doing the surgery, and he'll be there when you wake up.  At any rate, it's really beyond your control now, so relax.

 

(Of course, as I type this, I realize completely that relaxing is not a possibility at this point, but it's something we all seem to say....)  Here's another hug. 

Sheila, I am planning on being there at 8. I pulled my knee out but I can walk, so I will be there at 8. I may only be able to stay a couple of hours as I may end up having to babysit 2 of the grandkids while my daughter shops, but I will be there to send you off to the new you!

Thanks everyone.. I woke up at 4 AM, well really don't know if it was sleep but it will do.. Talked to DH and he is in Yukon headed to El Reno.. I am suppose to meet him at OKC, he said maybe Penn Mall.. He will let definetly let me know the closer I get..   Than Thursday we have to plan how we will get home and how he will get back to his truck so he can leave Thursday night.   He will most likely recruit his parents to drive him back Thursday night..  But I know it will all work out, just not a easy time at all..

Thanks for all of the prayers, they are so greatly appreciated.  I am not nervous about the surgery just very excited and nervous about DH's situation.. But it will all come together.. I am so ready to get rid of this extra body fat and start the New Me for the New Year..
