I have a nutrition question
Katz!
Thank you so much for such a detailed post. Your diet sounds exactly like what I need to be doing. If I can just find the protien I like. I liked it all before! I'll get another kind tomorrow and see if I like it better.
Does Myoplex count as a liquid or food?
Thanks for your help! You helped a lot!

I did the exact same as katz did, we had the same doc. I started with ham on week 5 but here's how i first started eating it. I got some cubed hame and ran it through my little nut chopper/food processor thing real quick. Basically made it like deviled ham. I then cooked it with an egg and sprinkled some fiesta blend cheese on top and added a dab of tabasco. I ate about half of it but it was awesome. The next meat I tried was canned chicken and i made some low carb tortilla quesadillas with it. Was awesome. The next meat was a hamburger patty with no bread or cheese, just some ketchup. I ate about 1/3 of that patty and was STUFFED.
Now as for protein drinks, I have said this many times but i LOVE these drinks. They are called CytoSport PROTein. To me they taste just like Gatorade and they have like 40 grams of protein per bottle. You can find them in Tulsa at Discount Sport Nutrition or at http://www.cytosport.com/ProductGroup.aspx?ProductGroupID=2
I just did some checking. Apparently the GNC stores sell CytoSport products. If they dont have the drink I am sure they could order it for you. There is one right there in Claremore too.

The protein made from powder goes down easier if you thin it down with more water-and hey, we all need more water anyway, right? I can't drink that 40 gram in one serving stuff even now-I make it with 1 scoop instead of two, and add extra water, but that's 20 grams and it's a start.
