Past the half way point pre-op

Had a great visit to Weight Wise yesterday.  I'm doing everything right and haven't cheated.  My pre-op goal is 44 pounds.  I only have 20.5 left to go!  That's 23.5 pounds in 33 days pre-op!  Somer said she was proud of me as did my primary care physician last week.

Head hunger still a problem but my determination is resolute: I will NOT fail!  This is hard but I can do it!

The family is cooking Christmas dinner I can eat.  Except for the desserts I should have no willpower issues.

I'm back at WW on the 29th for a VO2 assessment.  Wish me luck everyone!

You're doing great! You must be very proud of yourself. No matter the dessert situation of the season, keep your goal in mind and you'll do fine. You'll be having surgery, before you know it! :)
Blessings,
Mary

Congrats Winne!  I'm proud of you!

The VO2 thing is very interesting.  I also did it pre-op and found out that I didn't have to exercise near as hard as I thought to have maximum benefit.  In fact, I was probably trying too hard.  I really need to get this done again since I'm 6 months post-op but I think you'll be glad you did this.

Have a very Merry Christmas and stay strong.  I know you'll have a Happy New Year because you'll spend most of it on the Loser's Bench!

You are doing great! I know how hard it is to stay strong right now....Christmas is everywhere and very tempting! Hang in there!  My problem is those visions of sugar plums and all those other visions dancing in my head! I have to maintain until I can get a date to do this now, so I need to control those.

We are eating healthier this Holiday. We will still have all the desserts but you can't take everything away just because of me! The good thing is it doesn't stay at my house...I leave it there.

Hang in there and keep up the good work. If we can make it past Christmas, we can do anything!

Good job and good luck.  Hit the sugar free desserts-they still have calories, but no sugar to mess up that lean mean calorie burning machine you've turned your body into.  I'm going to have a small slice of SF coconut creme pie and I bought some Sugar Free Peanut Brittle if I want a candy treat.  (My father is diabetic, so it won't go to waste-it's just a matter of whose waist it goes too.....Hahahahahaha).

Gez, tear em up, bud!  You are definately going to be such a success.  Congrats, and stay strong.  And you'll find the VO2 very interesting.  Gee, how much are you paying for that?  Oh, wait, NOTHING!!!  Hope you enjoy the door prize that was suppose to mine!    No, really, I'm glad you won that.  Have a great Christmas.  Michael
