help, i want a snack!!
ok i still can't eat very much when we have a meal. i'm talking 4-5 bites at the most but after my hour is up and i start drinking again.....i find myself wanting a snack!! what can i do to make this problem go away? i don't want to snack because so far i have been doing everything right and now this. any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't think snacks are as evil as they say. But then maybe that's why you're totally kicking my butt! This is about learning how to live and eat like a "normal, skinny person". Normal, skinnies have snacks! Just make it something acceptable like low fat string cheese or beef jerky. Thos are 2 of my favorite snacks.
I wonder if you are only getting 4 bites in because you are eating too fast. I eat a bit slower and get almost a cup in depending on what it is of course. I am full for much longer when I do that. However, if I eat something that has carbs associated with it then I am hungry about an hour and a half later. You are doing great girl!

maybe i am eating too fast. usually my tummy lets me know by getting even with me but maybe i'm just not going slow enough. that comes from too many years as police dispatcher and eating at the desk trying to shovel it in before the phone or radio goes off. trying to retrain myself is verrryyy hard but i'm working on it! merry christmas!!
Amy - you make such a good point. If there are any carbs associated with a meal, it makes you so much hungrier earlier. So why the heck so we ever even touch those carbs? I can't figure that out about myself. Surely I'm smarter than that? Oops! Guess not!
I am consciously trying to eat slower. Maybe that will speed my weight loss. I'm losing so much slower than everyone else! (whine!) But that's ok. I'll eventually get there!
