Hello all! I'm back

I'm home and doing fine.  Thanks everyone for all of your prayers.
I was in a little shock when I woke up in the ICU.  I had talked to so many people and I just assumed it was going to be like a c-section.  NOPE it wasn't.  PLUS I got that minor set back with the infection.  But I'm home today and I'm doing ok.
I have been weepy and crying over every thing.  I couldn't even finish reading the posts!  I have cried for 2 days.  So when I talked to Sherry and Marie I was a whole lotta weepy mess!  I was just scared!
I did have kind of a tough time and I'm working my way through it.  And lets talk buyers remorse.  I was on the phone at 4am crying to my momma.  But then my dr. came in and said I could go home today.  I was so ready.  But he was just being cautious because of me living so far away.
I had some wonderful nurses.  and I really REALLY like Dr. Gornichec.  The only time I really questioned anything was that they tried to give me a bactrum for my infection and it was pretty big.  I just thought it was a mistake.  I told them I was scared to take it so they crushed it.  It tastes nasty but I'll handle it.  Dr. G said he thought I could take it but I don't care for pain and I was afraid it would get stuck!
Anyway I'll post more Later!  Let me just tell you I am NOT Wonderwoman!  I now Know that!!!!!  But hey, I'm still hangin!
Hugs and Kisses to you all and thanks again for your prayers.  I could tell I was being prayed for!  That divine Healing!!!
TTYL!

Crying is good for the soul-think how you feel when you don't cry and need to-like you are going to explode.  Bawl away if you have to.

I'm glad you are home and I'm glad Dr. G was cautious-good move on his part.  Let the healing begin!

Hey Kim!
I am so excited for you!  I have been soooooo busy at work and haven't been on to post in forever!
Glad you are home and don't worry about the buyers remorse, I think most, if not all, of us go through that.  Mine was that I didn't have the RNY instead of the Band, and I was so angry with my DH for being so paranoid for me to have the RNY that I chose the Band for his peace of mind.  You know what, it's the best choice I could have made for me.  It's much slower weight loss but I am appreciating every pound!  I would appreciate them with the RNY too, but that is water under the bridge and I am over it.
Keep moving to get the gas out, the shoulder pain was the worst for me too, and yes, in answer to your other post, Gas-X is wonderful!!!!!
Lots of love to you and hope to see you soon at a dinner or support group!

Kim, I'm sooooo glad to hear that you are home!! Crying is just fine. My 1st week was soooo rough, and I had a crying spell at least 3 times a day, and in the evening I really broke down. But, I can tell you, the middle of the 2nd week, I had so much energy, and felt normal again. If you have any questions or need to talk, personal message me. I'll continue to pray for a quick recovery!! Your STRONG!! Your doing great!!

HUGS!!

Kim, I am so glad you are home and doing well. I have been praying for you girlfriend. I am sorry to hear you are weepy. I will probably be the same way when i get to have the surgery. I have heard it happens to most everyone, but  not sure if that is true or not. Glad to hear that Dr. Gornichec was great to you. I know it helps to  have a surgeon with a good bedside manner. Keep us updated on your progress. I am anxiously awaiting to hear your success stories.
