As promised...National Board Scores

I promised several of you who were thinking good thoughts for me that I would post my National Board Scores to let you know if I certified on the first attempt or not.  Certification is 275 points needed.

I missed certification by 0.2 of a point. AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!

Translation: I have to retake a test between January and June and wait until NEXT November to find out the scores again. At least since I'm a scholarship recipient, the $530 testing fee doesn't come out of my own pocket. They say it's a 3 year process to certify, but dammit..I'm an overachiever, and this doesn't sit well with me.


I'm done crying over it because crying never helped anything..I'll keep you posted..

 Hi, Charlotte, nice to see you posting again.  Sorry about missing the certification by two tenths of a point but I like your attitude.  I think you need to go out and buy some boots and have a massage and a mani/pedi.  It won't change your scores but I guarentee you'll feel much better!!!  donna

It's awesome that you got that close though-it means you are almost there.  I agree though, a new pair of boots heals a lot of wounds.

That sucks!  I am confident that you will be triumphant next time around!

Interesting that y'all are telling me to buy boots. I did, at Anne's Resale..Black ankle boots with a pointy toe and spiked heel. I wear 'em everywhere!

I'm getting 2 layaways "out of hock" today downtown, so that's my way of spoiling myself over this. The money bonus really would have been nice this year, but I'm confident I'll make it this time.
