Hey there guys!

it's 7 12 here, and I just got home. I am gall bladder free, and extremely sore. We had to change my surgery to 2 30 this afternoon and do it at Mercy because of insurance, that's what took so long.

I am also on really good pain meds, and the anesthesia hasn't completely worn off yet, so I keep falling asleep at the most inopportune times. 2x so far just writing this post. So I'm going to go lay down, and hopefully I will be back on later...

Thands for worrying about me.

O and another thing...because of the anesthesia, my nose won't stop itching, so I look like Rudolph lol

Yeah, but I'm totally fine, home and situated, I can't pee, and I don't want to eat at all, even though I haven't eaten anything all day long. I'm sore and sleepy, but I'm gall bladder free :) Life is good, just not right now lol

I'm glad you are gall bladder and gall stone free.  Drink when you wake up (water or gatorade, not the good stuff) and worry about food later.  Sleep is good.

Glad to see you home and feeling better..Take it easy and enjoy your pain free body.  I feel for anyone that has had gall bladder surgery.  Seeing my husband go through the pain was really difficult..

Huge hugs and a speedy recovery,
Sheila

Boy howdy, I'll tell you what...as long as I'm on the pain meds, I'm ok, but oohhh boy, I woke up this morning after they had worn off, and I thought first that my shoulder had been popped out of socket, it hurt like the dickens. Then as I went to take two of my pain pills, I got this stitch in my side where Dr. W torn through my ab muscles to get to my gall bladder, and I couldn't breathe it hurt so bad. I am soooo glad I have a mom who is a nurse, who doesn't freak out. If anyone other than her had been here, I would be on my way to the hospital with a freaking out set of grandparents. After the pain meds kicked in though, I was a little bit happier, at least I could breathe again. Then we found a heating pad for my shoulder, so hopefully that won't hit me like that again either. Other than that, I found out that my dog knows when I'm hurting, because she licked my face and brought me her favorite chew toy to make me feel better. Gotta love the mutts :)

Glad to hear you're still moving around and stuff....sorry you're in pain though!  But just think...maybe he took out another 2 pounds just in gall-stuff.... and no more of those things to bother you ever again!
