COLD COLD COLD

Mary, I've been cold ever since March 12th and a big part of the "summer" as well.  Our AC was set higher than ever, I didn't sleep with an oscillating fan right in front of my face either.  I wore socks to bed in July...go figure!!  I've always been hot.  It was nice not to sweat all summer.  I did when I walked briskly for exercise but not many other times.  Now....I"M FREEZING.  I have my space heater going full blast under my desk at work.  I purchased an electric mattress pad with dual control (Sam's) and it's AWESOME!  It's so nice to get into a wam bed and not cold sheets.  I also wear lots of clothes around my house.  It's cheaper than cranking up the heat.  Sweatshirts, sweat pants, socks and on and on!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

Does this newfound cold cause any arguments between you and your husband? I might need to warn my husband, if so. :)  Maybe a lower summer air conditioning bill will offset the higher winter heating bill.
Blessings,
Mary

No, it doesn't cause any arguments.  After 37 years we really don't have many of those...especially since our kids are grown and out of the house!!  I do keep afgans near my chair and try not to crank up the heater for the sake of the checkbook!!  He'd be game if I wanted to pu**** up though.  I figure I can do my part by dressing warm in the house!!

Don't forget to crank up a humidifier and or leave out pans of water too-the extra heat makes the air extra dry.  I've always had problems during heating season, but this year seems particularly rough, maybe because the air outside is really dry too.

Okay. Good. I can scratch off my most recent addition to my 2009 list:  save for a divorce. [just kidding; who'd want to train a new man, after 31 1/2 years!]
