How about this weather?
We are supposed to drive to OKC tomorrow. I want to leave around 3:30 so we won't be driving in the night traffic. I sure hope this lets up a little tomorrow or I will have to postpone my surgery. I just hope everyone doesn't lose power like last year. The weather persons have said its not supposed to be as bad as last year.
Its just a wait and see kind of thing now!
Everyone that is out traveling in this for any reason, please be careful! Its no fun out there! And COLD!!!
My liquid diet has gone really well. I forget to eat and have to track every bite I put in my mouth. I am not getting enough calories in. I'm here to testify...If you are dreading your pre-op diet...Just know You can do it. I never dreamed I could do this. I have lost 13 lbs since last Sunday. I don't even realize I haven't eaten until I start to feel sick. I'm doing my protien shakes, water, s/f pudding, broth, cottage cheese. Yum Yum! LOL! The only problem I am having is my soidum level is through the roof!
I just wanted to post...Just so you know...I'm not freaking out this time. I'm unbelievably calm. I don't know where its coming from, its so not me. You know that peace that everyone talks about getting? I've got it. I feel like its going to be ok, one way or another. I may get impatient. If I have to do this liquid diet without my surgery for very much longer I might not be on here bragging on my self so much!
I just hadn't posted in a day or so. I had to let you know I'm READY FREDDY!!!!

Be careful! Uncle John is being buried at Ft. Sill tomorrow but the family will stay behind if the roads are dangerous, and I'm afraid they are going to be. We've got two new heavy duty generators this year-last year's ice was expensive and painful (I lost animals) and I finally put my foot down and insisted because worrying about it was getting to me.
I think that the ice last year got the questionable trees-also the wind of the past few days would have blown down branches that were loose, but that doesn't help the roads-so please, all of you, be safe and warm.
Its 4 am, My DH is leaving for work and I'm up checking the weather and the roads. You take care today and I hope you make it to your uncles funeral. I agree with you not going if the weather is too bad, but I pray that it isn't so you can be there.
If you venture out be careful!

It is finally here! I'm so excited for you! You will do great...You will! I know it is going to be a challenge to get there....but that part of it will be the part you will laugh about later.
Becareful and besure to have your hubby keep us posted... He can call me and I will post what is going on if you don't have a laptop.
Just think....You are only a day away from stepping into your new life!! Congratulations girlfriend!!

I was going to ask if you still have my cell phone number? If you do you might call my cell phone because my DH might forget to call. He told me to make a list of everyone to call. But he's going to be there by himself tomorrow night because I have to spend the first night in ICU, so, if for some reason he doesn't call then call him and get an update so you can post my buddies that I'm doing great and I made it to the losers bench! LOL! Positive thinking!!!

Wow Kim, it's your turn!! I'll be 2 weeks out tomorrow, and I have to say even though head hunger tried to get the best of me in week 1, having this surgery is the best thing!! I was freaking out a couple days before surgery, and the day before and the day off, I also, had the calmness. You are going to do great!! Just remember, walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip!!!! If you happen to have a rough time for the first week, send me a personal message. Because girl, it's so worth it!! Be sure and let everyone know how things went. I'll be praying for a text book prodecure and a speedy recovery!
