People watching and stuff....

I've noticed a phenomena that I thought was dead.... 

My workout facility is located on one of the cruise ship docks in an area called havensight.  So after I run on the treadmill and go workout in the morning, I take a final run through the complex of shops and restaurants before I head back or the showers.  The ships are docked and people are starting to climb off to go shop on the island or take tours or do whatever floats their boat....but

I've noticed that most of the ladies are dressed in something comfortable yet still stylish.  The men are slobs...lol...not to mention... there's a certain "hair-cut" that seem to be making a comeback...

"Business up front and party in the back"......yes ladies the mullet seems to be making a comeback.  Luckily for me I don't have enough hair to subject myself to such an indignant haircut.  I thought that I would never have to endure another site of the "achy-breaky syndrome" that invades our local state fairs, but I was wrong.....  Why cut their hair in such a manner?  Do women actually like that kinda thing?    Sadness that barbers all around can't just tell them that they refuse to cut it like that anymore.  And to any of you who have a mullet or love someone with a mullet, I mean no disrespect...ok...maybe a little...  Don't get me wrong here...  men aren't alone in this social faux pax... 

Some of the women think just becasue it's nice and warm here that we don't have rules that govern what we wear out in public....there are some girls who get off the boat in nothing more than a bikini with high heels and no coverup....  I don't have any problems with a beautiful girl in a bikini, but you just know that when she's looking back at pictures from her trip and everyone is dressed appropriately but her and she notices there's no beach in some of those shots, her first though will be...."what the heck was I thinking???"

Just another fun thing from the islands for you to ponder on a cold day...

Interesting observations!  The mullet is coming back???  Surely you jest!  It was an abomination the first time around!

Those chickies in the bikinis are just advertising.  They are either looking to score some vacation lovin' or a tease.  Either one is just as bad as the other.  Ooh, I think my age just showed up in this post!

i was at wal-mart  yesterday and saw two guys with mullets . All you can do is look and smile then laugh on the in side . 

Be happy that you have just seen the run of the mill mullet... Just wait until some of those fine fe-mullets come your way to your wonderful island. Than you will be truly livin'....

Hope all besides horrible haircuts and tiny bikinis is well on the island...

I am of the age that the mullet was a popular haircut for the guys at my high school.  When I look back at the old pictures I think "What Dorks".  But of course I wore leggings, high heels, huge earrings and Big Hair, you could have called me Dorkess.  I think the only thing worse than a man with a mullet is a woman with one.  Lisa

Okay, I am a cruise girl, but bikini and high heels?  Are you serious??  I think they are looking for trouble?  For goodness sake where is your cover up???  I guess if they have it they are flaunting it...

The so so mullet, where the sides were kind of blended, on a nice thick manly head of hair (like Mel Gibson had once upon a time), I could go with that one-but the no blended, spikey then long SKANKY hair in back-oh no no no.....and those dang gum tails......those little icky icky annoying the snot out of me tails-I am filled with rage every time I see one of those haircuts.

Those bullriding straw hats that are kind of skinny in the middle and smushed down on both ends fill me with rage too especially in Mexico where they are usually sitting on top of some white trash with a mullet.....LOL.

And to round out my most annoying trio-anyone, male or female, with hairy armpits who won't keep their arms DOWN.  If you are not playing beach volley ball, KEEP YOUR FREAKIN ARMS DOWN.

I don't think any of those things makes me high maintenance or fussy. 

Maybe you could just "whip" all those folks into shape???  hee hee

Honestly, they should make it legal to pop a bb into the butt of any man wearing a mullet (with the approved pink BB gun of course).

For the hairy armpits, we could just shoot wax wads at them-once they had to pull out a few of those, they'd keep those arms down.
