Hello all....I thought that I read somewhere that it is not uncommon to stall at 3 weeks. I have been at the same weight for a week now....its kinda disheartening when the first couple of weeks were good...now its nothing happening. I am still doing everything I am suppose to. It seems the loss slowed down when I started eating soft foods...is this normal? Am I normal?? Please dont answer the last one....lol

Yes girl, you are normal - your body had only liquids for quite a while and once you start reintroducing different phases of diet, your body will READJUST (not stall particularly).  It does this with every change of diet you will have.  Continue to follow the program laid out for you - the water and protein are extremely important components in the early days.

Everyone always has a little angst as foods are reintroduced, but all is well and it will happen!!  Rapid weight loss is a nice idea - but our bodies are finicky!!  Hang in there - you will be okay!!

Frustrating but totally normal.  Keep on course and the weight will once again begin to disappear.  Mushies confuse your body.  It will figure it out and give up the pounds again.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I slowed down and went from losing 10+ pounds a week the first couple to I only lost 10 pounds in two weeks between 3-4 weeks. And everything I have read is that your body has to have a readjustment time during the different stages. I am lucky that way I do not have a scale that goes up high enough to weigh me so I have to go to the doctors to get an accurate weight and since it is a little bit of a drive I don't make it alot I will not go back till my appointment the 18th again. I would stay off those scales except for maybe once a week or you will drive yorself crazy. If you are following your plan then you are going to lose the weight remember your body has been through so HUGE changes in recent weeks!

I'm happy to tell you that you're normal!  This will break but, for now, your body is trying to figure out what in the heck is going on.  Follow the rules and the pounds will drop again.

But think about how much fun you've had weighing so far!  Who would've ever thought weighing would be fun???

Thanks guyz. I guess I was loving the loss before this week, and when I didnt see anything this week, I was like what the heck is up. I will remain patient, cuz I am sure it will start moving again, you know how we all get.....get a little anxious and just need reassuringlol
