A tinsy bit off topic: My random thought for the weekend...

Oh my gosh Sherry, I stood in those lines on December 26th as well.  When the kids were little I could buy the toys for the next year and or birthdays.  They didn't constantly come up with new video games and other nonsense...it was the standard cars, trucks, dolls and games!!!  I loved OTASCO.  My daddy bought me a toy sewing maching from one when I was a little girl...

I gotta get in on this...I remember Danny's Day on Channel 4 and before that Foreman Scotty...oh the Magic Lasso!!! How about HO HO the Clown and Pokey. He actually came to my 8th brithday party!! .  I used to love to watch the Treasures, Incorporated commercial...whew...all those diamonds!!! I do love me some diamonds!!! The Partridge Family and Brady Bunch were favorites.  Did anybody else go see David Cassidy when he came to OKC ?  The Love Boat...soon we'll be making another run! Fantasy Island...boss...dee Plane...dee Plane!!! Carol Burnett...I'm so glad we had this time together...just to have a laugh or sing a song...seems we

YES, YES, I was at the David Cassidy concert in OKC.  I just might have seen you then, huh?  LOL  It had snowed the day before and my Mom wasn't going to let me go but by then I was engaged and nothing was going to stop me going to see him...oh he was so cute!!!! 

I cheated and googled the rest of the words to the Carol Burnett song!!

O..M..G...flashbacks!

Anyone remember the "Schmoo"?  A big ol white blobie lookin thingie with a lil mustache?  Quisp cereal with the alien on the big blue box?  Hey Mikey...you wanna try?  Mikey will eat ANYTHING!

Oh, and I remember late at night, sneaking downstairs as my mother was watching "Mary Hartman", in all her glory, complaining of waxy yellow build-up on her floors.  Any one remember Mary Hartman?  Mary Hartmaaaaaan!
