Yeppers,, That's right... Christmas Eve...  unless Cheryl can get Dr B to squeeze me in on Tuesday 12/23/08.  I would prefer Tuesday so I would be home Christmas morning, but if not everything will work out and I will be having it on Christmas eve...

As always, I have some finangling (sp?) to do on the home front to make this happen, but everything works out for the best..

Woohooo!!!!

I know you are anxious for surgery, but that date is really stinky. I think I would have to wait till after Christmas. Congrats of getting a date.

Well, yay for a date.  But boo for Christmas eve.  What the heck are they thinking?  Push for the 23rd.  (but in a nice way!)

Maybe we can work on them to squeeze you in at the party tonight!

I know the timing isn't the best but you can only imagine what I was going through when the date was mentioned to me.. and I called hubby and of course he's NO help at all..LOL..  24th is not set in stone as she was waiting for Dr B to come up from surgery and she was going to speak to him on my behalf.. The next possible date was Jan 7th.. way to long for me.. Since I am a food addict and all, can you imagine how many days I would have to slip up and telling myself I will get it back off and ya da ya ya da.. To many days and too many possiblities to mess this up.. I know the 24th is not ideal planning, but we make our days what they are. KWIM?  Yes, Christmas morning, I will be in the hospital and not ideal setting for 4 year old twins, but they only experience what we give them.  So if we move Christmas morning the following morning it's no problem.  As long as we are together as a family and we show them the true meaning of Christmas.  We don't have big family get togethers that is what Thanksgiving is for.  Christmas includes hubby, and kids and grandparents..  It will all work out for the best and I was flabergasted and brought to tears at first the idea of giving up Christmas morning with my kids.. But it is also a blessing to be given this date..

Thanks everyone, I am very excited..

Yes, let's pull out the pitty card as I really need it now..LOL...   I travel with copy of twins pictures and Cheryl, took one of their recent soccer pictures and added it to my file.. She was going to show Dr B and use that as leverage  on getting it done the 23rd.. Crossing all of my fingers and all of my toes.. So hopefully, 2 cutie putie pictures and a doctor that whants to be in the Christmas spirit will give me a date on the 23rd..  I so ment to mention the duffle bags and try to get one early since I wont be there and I totally forgot about it during all of the excitement.  So can someone finangle me one..LOL..

Hope you all have a wonderful time tonight..

Congrats Sheila!! What a great Christmas gift! Ya know, we have had to have Santa come a few days early at our house a few years back, so maybe in your case he could show up the weekend before. This is the Christmas you will always remember. What a great surgery anniversary!! Again congrats!!! =)
