Just kidding. I understand you're stressing about this, but it won't do you any good. It might even cause you to gain. You don't want that, do you? You can't control the weather, but there is Someone who can. Right? What if you prayed about it, told Him about all your fears and "what ifs," and then agreed to trust Him to take care of everything: the weather, your children, your neighbors, the electricity, your trip...everything? "Cast all you care upon Him, for He cares for you." He even cares about all these details and your WLS. He really does. :)

I've changed my mind about the margarita! I want it really bad...but I'm gonna be a good girl! LOL! Not that I'm much of a drinker...I just have these nerves.... Could be the 3 screaming toddlers and the 5 year old too! LOL!

I know what you mean about the weather...If they predict 6" of snow we never get a flake, but if they say its going to go around us and not bother us at all...We are snowed in for days! Oklahoma... what can we say!

Now....
You might call the Dr and see if they cancel surgeries during events like this...or what their policies are concerning that....IMonday evening probably won't be bad yet..... Know that people need you, but what if you didn't even live there?? Isn't it possible that everyone would get by? Shoot give them the keys to your house and tell them you are off to the city for surgery!! You aren't going to be able to do much when you get home anyway! Probably the roads will be clear enough to get home, as they have to de-ice the turnpike.
I am like you are....I worry about this kind of stuff. It will work out. I don't think God changes weather for one person but if you can have back up plans ready....Get started on that! Personally I always stock up on Toilet Paper for some reason when it is going to snow or ice up....
I e-mailed my surgeon's office and she told me to calm down or I would get an ulcer...She told me that they would make alternate plans if they had too for me not to worry. I'll try to remember to calm down! God has totally paved the way for my surgery, I've had a very easy time with my testing and getting approved. I feel if its meant to be I'll have it on time and if not I'll have it when I'm supposed too!
I had a little time to myself for naptime...I'm much calmer...can ya tell! LOL!

By the way...yes, the little devil does send reminders of T. He would probably think so too! He is the sweetest guy! He reminds me of my son in law....a pain in the ass but you can't help but love the guy!
Ok now that you are calm and are thinking more clearly....I can relax. I had three grandkids under 3 all day....I don't know how you do what you do! Oh wait you'aren't 57 either!!! That's why!
