Em,
I'm sure shots are more effective, but sublingual is easier for me to get my hands on... I can't honestly tell a difference whether I take them or not. If I'm on island, i take them 2x a day, but if I'm on another local island i forget about them...and honestly I cant tell the difference... (my folks own pharmacies and my dad can't tell the difference either...lol)

I had the sleeve and am required 1 b-12 suglingual each week. It's no big deal and tastes good. I will sometimes take 2 a week if I see them sitting there.
One of my buddies had RNY and she gets the b-12 shot once a month. She says she feels tired and run down right before she's due the next shot.
I didn't help you, did I? But, sadly, that's all I know!

SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS.......I love the shots. I get mine about every 3 weeks (if I wait 4 weeks I get really tired and worn out) I am just not responsible enuf to take medication everyday. I have a hard time trying to remember to take vitamins.
