Ladies Only Question!!

I am 8 days out, and my cycle is here. I have always taken Midol or Aleve every 4 hours the first 2 days of my cycle, to get past these horrible cramps and back pain. What can I take pill wise? Can I break a Tylenol up? Or is my only option the liquid Loratab they gave me to come home on? By the way, the Loratab really upsets my tummy.

Thanks for helping,
Amber

Amber, you can buy adult strength liquid tylenol at the drug store.  I bought some at wal-mart or walgreens before surgery to have on hand for after surgery....it should help you, withour having to taste nasty crushed pills..

Hey Girl-

Doesn't that SUCK so soon after surgery... I went to diet class less than a week ago and she said liquid tylenol, but no advil. Like the comment before, you can get it in the adult "version".

Hope everything else is going well!

I would go with the liquid tylenol also.

Personally tylenol didn't help mine but everyone is different. I am a pamprin fan and had to give it up when I had my partial hysterectomy.

I am with the other ladies on this one~ I would try liquid tylenol being as you're only 8 days post-op.  Hopefully it offers you some relief and does not upset your tummy.  *hugs*

Ugh!  So sorry THAT rolled around again while you are still recovering.  I hope the Tylenol works for you.  Try curling up with a heating pad (not a bad idea on a frigid day like today anyways).  If you are still suffering - hold your nose and swallow that Loratab.  Then you can have a nice nap!.........hmmmm, that nap part sounds like a good idea.
