Rarely do I rave about something but I felt this was a great one to announce. You may know about it already, but this is a great one for us trying to lose, but still wanting to have a bready item
I don't normally like Pita bread as it is usually chewy and kinda hard....This is not! It's called Joseph's Heart Friendly This is an Oat Bran and WWheat Flour Pita with Plant Steroids.

In Walmart, over by the Deli there are Pita bread products.
This one is wonderful to use to make a mini Pizza supreme!  I split it and made a very thin pizza crust making all the numbers below half of this. I loaded it with turkey peparoni and onions, peppers, and so on.....  You could make  Pita Sandwhiches. It is sooooooooooo soft and tasty!
Now I am not sure as to who can have this or not...but for me now on maintaining my weight until Jan....this is ok.

It has 60 Calories per Pita
1.5 g. fat's
Total carbs 5 after subtracting the fiber
Protein is 7g.
Cholesterol  and Trans fat Free
Total carbs are 10 but since there are 5 dietary fibers you can deduct that leaving the total at 5
(You are not supposed to deduct any fibers unless it is 5 or above according to my Diabetic Nutritionist)

I just thought I'd share this one with you. It is worth a try!

Hi, Sherry.
That does sound yummy. I can't have it, but I'm sure there are others who can. Maybe one day, I'll be able to use pita bread, just a few bites. I don't know. I'm still learning. :)
Blessings,
Mary
