New to Area

Thank you all so much for your input.  I can't wait to get there.  My husband is from Baltimore so he is use to the cold me and our children on the other hand have no idea.  It is cold and rainy here today and my boy's walked out of the house with shorts and a sweatshirt.  I keep telling them that they will not be doing that in a couple of weeks.  We were in Edmond on Memorial Weekend and everyone there was so so freindly.  As you also seem to be.  I can't wait to get there.  Have bought boy's winter jackets for christmas I know they are going to thank me once there. LOL!  Does anyone take there husband/wife to support groups?  My surgeon said it would be good for him to go to see that I am not the only one having certin issues.  I have also been taken off my estagel for the next month I feel very emotionable.  I think the move may also be a little to do with it.

Hi Stephanie!  I live in Edmond & my surgery was 2 weeks ago today.  I haven't been to a support group meeting since my surgery, but I'll be starting soon.  Add me to the Weight Wise list.  It's been a wonderful experience there.  Their facility is right here in Edmond, so it will be very convenient for you once your settled.

How are you doing?  I feel very tired and dizzy alot of the time I am hoping that will pass soon.
