Do I really look that different?
I have been so busy lately that I have barely had time to post, but read as much as I can. While my brain is catching up and I can see the weight loss in the mirror, I still don't think I look that different. Last night I was in Walmart and saw my BIL (have not seen him since my son's wedding in June so before surgery). I called out to him. He turned around and looked at me then turned back and started to walk away. I called him again and this time he turned around with the most shocked look on his face. Then there was today -- we had our annual Oklahoma Hemophilia Foundation Christmas party. The woman at the table checking us in did not say a word to me, which I thought was odd because usually she is all over me. Later on I walked up to her table and she too had that same shocked look and said she never even realized I had been there. Same reaction from others as well. Going home for my sister's wedding next year should be really interesting!
Nancy,
I told you last time how really terrific you looked and how skinny you're getting! I know it's odd to see people's reactions! Crazy isn't it? I'm taking a small trip to NYC soon to see old friends and I'm gonna play lots of tricks on them and act like I'm someone else just to have fun with them....
