yesterday afternoon while walking I saw my neighbors little white poodle out roaming the parking lot. Since I am an animal lover I picked up the little thing and took it to its owner. He opened the door I bent down to let the dog go and next thing I know that little white fluff turned into a demon possessed wild animal. He started biting me snapping at the air and turned around and started biting at my legs and shoes. I was in total shock! The owner just stood there while the demonic possessed thing went crazy. I stepped back and it was turning in circles biting in the air.
Friends I have learned a huge lesson next time a fluffy cute poodle is roaming the neighbor I am not going to pick it up. Instead I am running the other direction...

And btw later in the evening while I was walking my dog the demon came running up to me wanting to be petted..... did I reached down and pet it.....NO

How bizarre was that, Pattye! I wonder if the dog's owner doesn't abuse that dog, that you would get that reaction only at their door AND because the owner did nothing to restrain the dog. Strange. I'm glad you're all right.

What a little monster!  It was probably being possesive of its owner.  Sometimes they get that way.  My grandma had a Pomeranium that was that way.  OMGsh that little **** pot!  He would bite you if she was around and when she wasnt in the room he came lovin up on me!  I didn't like the litte pouch! (that was a nice word for him!) LOL!

I'm glad you didn't get hurt!!!

kim, I own a pomerrian and I know how possesive he but this dog's owner wasn't at home. I think the dog just didnt want to go back inside. Today he was out and came running to me...I broke down and petted the thing but I will never pick him up again.

Let me say first of all...I'm a dog guy...( I love my rhodesian ridgeback like a family member)

secondly, i hate poodles....  I wuld have booted that dog into next week, if the owner wouldn't have said anything to stop the biting!  little ******* animals like that need the crap kicked outta them......you treat them with kindness yet they're so spoiled that have no sense of courtesy.

anyway, just my opinion...  You know pattye...I know a friend who has a pink bb gun that you can extract some revenge with....

insert evil laugh here -----> Bwahahaha hahaha haha ha  and stuff....

i use to own a bee bee gun because of a crazy horse that would charge at me when it was feeding time and the bitoch would attack other horses to get their feed..as long as I was with the rattling gun she behaved....
I use to love poodles but have learned they are not the best dog to have...
I told the owner today that if her dog ever tried to bite me again I would give it a dose of its own medicine..and I wouldnt let go...She said she couldnt understand what got into him..and she still has not apologised to me...

Pattye,

The reaction of both it and the owner is definately strange. Really does sound like the animal is overly spoiled. My ****ers are very protective of me and the kids and will bark but have never bitten anyone well except each other ( both males and figuring out who is top dog till they realize that is ME). But also I make sure that with male strangers (the ones they have teh most issues with) that the dogs are introduced by me or they are placed in their crates if they are someone I don't want them getting too friendly with (IE the matinance men at the apartments)

Poor little thing-that is completely an owner problem-and the little dog suffers a bad rep once more because owner's don't discipline their little fluffballs.

My neighbors down the street have a poodle their kids don't treat very well, and when the dog escapes I always root for it to get away.

I know that this dog has had another owner. It seems as if since my neighbors husband died he has become a demon dog...they did have him long before he died
