For the cooks in OKC... OT

Anybody know of a store in OKC that has crystalized or candied ginger? It cannot be found in Yukon, and I really don't want to order any online.

The health food store on 74th and Penn has it-if you are really going to be at the dinner next week I'll pick some up for you.

Yes, I do plan on being at the dinner Friday, and I'm in the process of smoking a turkey and I'll never be able to eat it all. I know everyone is probably full of turkey by now, but if anyone wants some delicious smoked turkey let me know.

Yes, I did indeed. I smoked one for a friend for Thanksgiving, but didn't even get to taste it, he said it was great. I have company coming from out of town today, so I thought smoked turkey would be good, because that is one thing I can eat now.

If you're going to be at the dinner Friday night, I'll bring you some. I know there will be plenty left over.

10-12 hours of smelling that bird smoke is almost more than I can handle

I am going to try to come but I have a support group meeting the next day so I dont yet.

I was thinking that Williams in Yukon had it but not positive.  You could call them before going.  I've done that before.

They used to but Williams is now Homeland, and they don't. I did manage to get some though.
