I heard a stomach pop Dr. broussard says it is normal

I had my surgery three weeks ago with Dr. Broussard at weightwise.  Last night while sleeping I think I heard and felt was appeared to be a pop.  I called Dr. B and he said not to worry that it was more like a dissolvable stich from the stomach wall.  He said it was normal.  I was concerned that it was a leak or loose stomach staple.  Anyone experience that?  Should I be worried?  THanks

How weird, that would freak me out too!!!  But, remember that Dr. B. wants to keep his complication rate low so if he even thought for a minute that it was something to be concerned about he would have you up there so fast.  I think if it was a leak you would have fever and pain.

Yikes!! I actually called the hospital last night and I was running a fever again and not feeling good. And my main question was, what are the signs of a leak. And she said a really high fever, nausea and vomiting, and major flu like systems. So, if you see any of those signs, maybe call him again!!
