I knew I would be colder this time of year having shed so much of my padding but GEEZES this is crazy.  I chill ot the bone.  Literally my bones feel cold.  My hands hurt from being cold and I have been wearing my Nike sports gloves everywhere the last few days.  I got me a really nice jacket/coat from Wal-mart that is keeping me warm as well.  I am keeping the heater running at about 80 too cause its so dang cold in my apartment.  But then its an apartment!!!  They are never known for holding in heat very well.

Anyone else freezing what little bit of tush we have left off?

I hear ya.  Same here.  I have never been so cold in my life.  And the sad thing is, it really hasn't been that cold yet.  Can't imagine how we are all gonna feel when the real winter gets here.  My hands are cold all the time.  I have never really been one to use an electric blanket, but I have got that sucker cranked up.  For the past 4 Friday nights (wearing 2 full sets of thermals, under armor top and bottom, sweat pants sweat shirt, a heavy coat, gloves, hand and feet warmers, scarf, and hat and a blanket) I have froze my butt off setting in the stands at our high school football games for the playoffs.  I will be at Mustang field this Saturday night as Garber plays Laverne for the Class B state football championship.  Oh God I just pray that the wind isn't blowing.    Lisa

Interesting that you say "chill to the bone" - I always try to explain to my husband that I am cold from the inside out - of course that is waaay over his head. I am so freezing this year - you did a pretty good job at describing how I fee!!!

Brrrrrrr... Day-um - I am freezing off things I would rather keep!  My fingers are barely flexible enough to type...

I'm at my desk most of the day, but still freezing.  Today I have on long sleeve under armor, long sleeve t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, and my fleece hoodie, and I'm still cold.  I can't really move my arms (imagine the little boy in a snow suit from "A Christmas Story") but I'm freezing!

I really don't know how the truly skinny people survive winter.  I may have to investigate some heated hunting clothes any day now...

BRRRRRRR!!

Due to the snakes/birds/tiny little foo dogs, I keep my house warm-but I actually have to watch to make sure it doesn't get TOO warm for them. If I even hear the wind, I start to shiver.  I'm making myself go out and spend time outside each day to acclimate.  My riding instructor doesn't have an indoor facility so that is incentive enough to learn to cope with the cold.  Also, Moon adores the colder weather-so he accompanies me whilst the little dogs huddle in their heated room.

One of the reasons I'm ok with a smaller house is I can blast the heat and A/C year round without worrying about cost.  The privacy fence I put up due to crazy neighbors is on the north side, and may actually pay for itself over time because it breaks the wind-my backyard is now warmer than my front yard when it's windy.

It seems to be worse when you are actively losing weight-or maybe I'm just getting used to it.  Last year I was so unprepared for the cold and worse, the dang ice.

I have a ventless gas heater I bought that I've never hooked up-there is no place for it in my house.LOL-but I was so worried about this winter last spring when they went on sale I had to have one.  I mean to tell you, I was phobic about it but this year I am ready to embrace the chill.

All I can say is I am going through clothes fast because I wear three layers every day.  I went to Wal-mart this am and got hand and foot warmers in the hunting section.  Believe it or not, I actually am doing fine today.  Go figure !!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't ever this cold before!!!  I didn't always live in a fat body and was never this cold when I was thin before what is the difference now?  And, I don't even consider myself thin yet just on may way and much thinner than before the new tummy.  I am freezing when it is 60 degrees out what am I gonna do when winter really hit with ice and snow and the whole 9 yards!!  SOMEBODY TURN UP THE HEAT!!!!

Chill to the bones is right! I was always freezing my girls in the winter cause I would keep the heat down, but now they are complaining it is too HOT in the house and I am still cold.

I am going to be buying some of those under armor things a friend at work told me about this weekend!

Besides losing the padding, think my blood is thinner too and causes me to be cold.
