I'm back too!
I'm back from my testing in OKC. I went for my scope yesterday and slept most of the day. I woke up this morning spewing from both ends! Not an easy day for me! I guess I got that virus I was so worried about getting! I had to go have my gall bladder/liver ultrasound, do my pre-op and have my nut class then ride home for 2 hours. WHAT A LONG DAY! But I'm home and I feel a little better now.
Its official I go in on Dec 16th at 9:15 am. I got my date and a time! How REAL this makes it for me. I start my pre-op diet Saturday.
All of my tests came out ok except that he put me on Reglan and my ultra sound showed an enlarged liver. Nothing too bad to keep me from the surgery. I was fortunate.
I'm happy to be home! I missed you all!

I didn't know you and Kim were sisters. I have always gotten you mixed up on here because you look so much alike. That is neat!
I'm pretty excited! And pretty scared too. My little one was with me in my pre-op visit today. I sat down and talked to him a few mins ago and asked him what he thought about my Dr. Visit. (We took him because I didn't want to be away from him for 2 days) He just said it was LONG and I asked him if he had any questions. He said there were Risks involved and a chance of complications. I asked him if he knew what that meant and he said that we would be waiting at the dr. for a LONG time! I just laughed at him and said thats right! LOL! I don't want him to worry. Everything will be fine!

Kim, i am glad that you are back and everything checked out and went well. WOW, Dec 16 is not that long away girl, and you said you are starting pre op diet on Saturday? How excited you must be now to officially have the date, everything is falling into place now. I am happy for you..happy happy happy

Glad to hear that everything on the physical end is looking promising; sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Only 12 more days for you!!!
I'm so excited for you, Kim, that you have a date! I'm sure it has felt like it would take forever; now, here you are! Even though you've felt better, at least if you were going to get ill, now's the time to get it behind you. You'll do fine, and your pre-op diet will clean you out the rest of the way! :)
