I met Amber, Camille, and...
Hi, Everyone.
I spent all day at Weight Wise yesterday. I was blessed to meet and talk with Amber (who was one hour from being dismissed), Camille (Amy's sis), and...MY MIND! I cannot think of her name! A beautiful gal. Well, they're all beautiful women and so very sweet. I didn't see MamaHen, though. :( I hope I didn't miss her, as we did grab a bite (5, actually) of lunch.
I chatted with various women in the waiting area, throughout the day. That was fun. There was one gal who has had many physical issues, but not (as she reiterated) from her RNY surgery. When she was leaving, she came over to me and I put my hand on her arm. What she didn't know was that, as we were talking, I was praying healing into her. :)
My daughter and our friend both had many appointments, too. They are so impressed with the caring staff at Weight Wise. Our friend said, as we were leaving, "For the first time in a LONG time, I have hope." Pray that both these precious ladies will receive notice today that financing has been approved.
I was to see one of the dieticians, for the 2-week post-op diet class, but her daughter got sick at day care, and she had to pick her up, take her home, and stay with her. The other dietician could see me in the late afternoon, but when our friend realized that she was scheduled with everyone but the dietician, I had her take my spot. I knew she needed to get in as many appointments as possible. It's very hard for teachers to take off work, these days.
I got to smile and wave at Dr. Walton. He calls me Miss Mary. I think he's adorable, and he has my prayers daily. He has saved my life. I did a lot of walking yesterday, and I didn't need my cane!
I ended up having time for 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese, for my first "mushies" breakfast yesterday. It was better than s.e.x. (just don't tell my DH). :)
Blessings,
Mary

Hi, Sheila.
Well, I don't guess I'd make a mack truck take a dirt road, but "cute"? I don't know about that. :) It was a busy, fun day. Giving up my appointment wasn't a big deal. Just seemed like the right thing to do, and, just like you said, you (and others) would have done the same. Don't ask my husband if I'm "such a wonderful lady." ;-)
Blessings,
Mary

Mary it made Camille's day to meet you. She said you are a beautiful sweet person, of course we all know that. That was the first thing she told me when I asked how all her appts went. I had to work and couldn't be there and I am so happy that there was a friendly face for her. I know it made the day more bearable. Thank you for your prayers. All our family and friends are praying for her today and I know God answers prayer. Thank you!

Hi, Amy.
It was such a privilege to get to know Camille. Maybe you can convince her family to move to OK; we'd take them, too, here in Kansas!
I know many are holding her up in prayer right now. Please update, as soon as you can.
Blessings,
Mary

Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy reading your replies, also. Yes, it's fun to be able to put a face with a name. I'm hoping Amber will read my post and tell me the name of the beautiful lady who was with her. Maybe I "entertained an angel unaware." Wouldn't that be cool!
Have a blessed day,
Mary (a.k.a., Miss Mary or Mama Law or Mama Mary)

Hi Mary! It was me that you met yesterday. Don't worry about not remembering my name. I haven't posted much (yet). It was terrific to get to see your pretty face & be able to put that with your great posts. Hope we get to meet up again soon......maybe when you finally get to have that dietician appt.

Teri! Yes, that's your name! I knew "mom" was somewhere in your profile name, but I didn't say because I thought I might have been mistaken. It was bad enough that I didn't retain your name. Oy, vey! :)
It was so nice meeting you. I was so happy to see that Amber had someone with her. I knew she was pretty nervous about the surgery, so I'm sure your presence helped a lot.
I will remember your name now. You're not the only one I've gotten confused about a name. Ask Amy (debtfree)! :)
Ah...now I can sleep! Just kidding...
Blessings,
Mary
